EXPORT CREDIT GUARANTEE CORPORATION OF ZIMBABWE ( ECGC ) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and is a duly registered short-term insurer. ECGC offers products that include EXPORT PAYMENT INSURANCE POLICIES, DOMESTIC PAYMENT INSURANCE POLICIES, MSME and FINANCIAL GUARANTEES as well as SHORT-TERM INSURANCE. The company’s mandate is to provide  specialized skills to Zimbabwean exporters so that they may be able to assess and analyze cross border risks in efforts to sustain and expand export markets.
